Family Constellations with Kyla Mitsunaga
May 20 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
$88.00
Family Constellations is one of THE most profound healing modalities founded by German psycho-analyst Bert Hellinger in the 1990s.
Like no other modality, the client (whom we call “the seeker”) chooses other people to represent people in their lives, or illnesses, or emotions, or feelings, (and more!) and observes as the constellation unfolds for the seeker’s highest and best most soul-healing catharsis. And magical miracle-y results.
What is Family Constellations?
Bert Hellinger founded the modality in the 1990s. He was a German psycho analyst working WITH German patients. Because they were German, they were either the descendants of the Nazis or Holocaust survivors. So either way, lots of ancestor trauma (!). He decided to go live in South Africa as a missionary. While in South Africa, he happened upon the Zulu tribes. From working WITH the Zulu tribes, he discovered that they had a way to connect WITH their ancestors through ancestor rites and rituals (unlike us in the west). He combined what he learned from the Zulu tribes WITH the likes of Karl Jung’s archetypal work and came up with Family Constellations.
During this Family Constellations sessions, I will:
-Introduce Family Constellations
-Facilitate 1-3 constellations for people who would like to be seekers
-Answer any questions at the end
If you’re curious, there’s an episode on Sex, Love, and Goop on Netflix on Family Constellations. Season 2 Episode 5. I promise though, the in-person Family Constellations session, will be better than Netflix!
Saturday, May 20

“I’ve done psychoanalysis and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for 25+ years and never had such an intense and powerful experience in such a short period of time as I did WITH Kyla facilitating a Family Constellations experience. If you’re looking to break through some of your old stories and truly understand what’s holding you back, you need to work WITH Kyla. She is a master facilitator and brings compassion, empathy, and kindness to the experience.”
