What Happens in Vagus… with Nicole Koch

Our goal with Nervous system regulation is not to hide from, fix or overcome life’s stressors, but to connect with the space between stimulus and response and expand our capacity to withstand what life throws at us. This is known as resilience.
In this workshop we will explore a basic overview of the Nervous System-what, where and why is it so all encompassing.
Through lecture and in-class exercises, we will also explore Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Theory (and its relevance to the vagus nerve, heart rate variability, immunity and overall health) and learn how to better recognize, navigate and ultimately shift our nervous system state in the moment.
After grasping a better understanding of the why and how, we will engage in a complete Ecstatic Breathwork and Restorative Yoga experience for overall deep nervous system regulation and relaxation.
Who: Anyone needing or wanting to have a better understanding of and more complimentary relationship with their own body and nervous system. No experience required.
What’s included: Groovy surroundings, transformational tunes, new knowledge and improved health.
To bring: Your open mind, a note pad and pen, a yoga mat, 2 blankets, a bolster if you have one, water bottle, comfy clothes. (please message with any questions or needs).
