Join Danielle Mai, Viniyoga instructor & Reiki Master, on this journey through your 7 major chakras. We’ll awaken and enhance the flow of energy through each one with reflection, gentle yoga, breath work, guided meditation and hands-on Reiki.
Each experience will focus on specific chakras in your body, from the base of your spine to your head. Improving the flow of energy through these energy centers can help you feel better physically, emotionally and spiritually.
The word chakra or çakra in Sanskrit, means wheel. Each corresponds to specific organs, physical functions, emotions, colors, sounds and elements. The chakra system can be traced back to Vedic texts in India written as far back as 500BC.
With permission, hands-on Reiki will be shared with each individual during a guided meditation toward the end of the practice.
Begins Tuesday, Oct. 10th 6-7:15p at Goddess Gatherings Lafayette. Bring your own mat, journal, water and any props you may need.
- Oct. 10th: Root & Sacral chakra
- Oct. 24th: Solar Plexus & Heart chakra
- Nov. 7th: Throat chakra (be prepared to use your voice)
- Nov. 21st: Third Eye & Crown chakra
